Heritage Club Social Strengthens Community Support for Surgical Services

The Mercy Medical Center Merced Foundation is proud to report a successful start to the fall season, following our recent Heritage Club Social held on September 10, 2026. Thanks to the generosity of our dedicated supporters, we have reached a significant milestone in our ongoing mission to enhance patient care.

The evening was hosted by Board Chair Kevin Smith and his wife, Dara Smith, who graciously opened their home to our Heritage Club members. The event provided an intimate setting for a meaningful dialogue regarding the future of surgical excellence at our hospital. Guests enjoyed a comprehensive presentation from Kassey Mosher, Cathan Riding, Dr. Scales, and Sherri Perez Velasco, who highlighted the evolving needs within our Surgical Services Department and participated in an insightful Q&A session.
